Bisa Aberwa Museum

About Us

Bisa Aberwa Museum (a Pan African Museum), is a not-for-profit, non governmental institution dedicated to preserving the history of the Black Race, promoting African values, celebrating Pan African heroes and inspiring the youth and generations yet unborn. The Museum is created to be one of the largest sculptural representations in clay, wood, cement, paintings and photographs of those whose sacrifices have shaped African history, both within the continent and the diaspora. Its cutting-edge exhibits in sculpture, sound-bites and visual presentations, are meant to make every visit an interactive experience. The over 2,000 exhibits takes the client on a journey of Africa, before, during and after the slave trade era, the outstanding display of heroism, the intellectual direction of our ancestors, their intelligence, skills and contribution that paved the way for modern civilization.
